    i genuienly think joe goldberg is such a great character because the dissonance between his thoughts and actions is legitimately fascinating, horrifying, and very fun to watch.

    i wanted the sound of the playlist to reflect his jumbled mindset, so it has a more upbeat and romantic surface-level sound, with moments of clarity that hint towards the kind of guy he actually is.

    the story of the playlist is the cycle of his romantic pursuits, from the start to the end of a relationship. some songs are meant to evoke specific characters as well.

    this might be my favorite playlist i've ever made, and nobody listened to it. WHICH IS FINE. i did miss the boat on the fandom by at least 5 years.

    also, these are the best playlist graphics i've done, i think they're soooooo cute. i want to redo the cover when i have a moment.
